To answer your question about whether to buy it in disc form or download. though I did have help initially setting this up - a computer literate friend spent an hour or so. I am not very computer literate but learned my way around it very quickly. I have used ASD for many years - it is my favorite learning tool.

A couple of final points: One, I am obviously inept around all this technology, so please, try to explain it to me in the simplest of terms! Finally, I know there are products out there similar to the ASD, but I don't to get this lost in a discussion of different personal favourites I just want to know if this could answer my needs and, if so, how it would be on my screen.
AMAZING SLOW DOWNER FREE ONLINES SOFTWARE
I've heard of the 'Amazing Slow Downer' and so my basic question is this: If I purchase the software (DVD?).I think it's about fifty dollars.does that mean I can put the disc into my computer, then bring up the OTJ, and expect to be able to slow down any tune I hear on there? That's my basic question! I know that the 'Slow Downer' will show a screen with speed adjustments, etc. Some I do well with but the tempo of others I find overwhelming. My big problem at the moment is that I'm having difficulty keeping up with some of the songs on the OTJ that I love to play along with.
